Report illegal content

Clever Little Cart hosts online shops for independent businesses. Each shop is run by its own business, which is responsible for what it sells and says. If you believe a shop on Clever Little Cart contains illegal content, sells illegal or unsafe goods, or breaks our Acceptable use policy, please tell us. This is our notice and action mechanism under Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA).

How to report

Use our report form, which asks for all of this, or email support@cleverlittlecart.com with the subject "Content report", and include:

  1. Where it is: the exact web address (URL) of each page or item;
  2. What is wrong: a clear explanation of why you believe it is illegal, or which rule it breaks;
  3. Who you are: your name and email address. You may report anonymously, but then we cannot update you. Reports of child sexual abuse material may always be made anonymously;
  4. Your statement: that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in your report are accurate and complete.

For a claim that your intellectual property is infringed (for example, counterfeit goods or copied photos), also tell us what right you hold, and show that you own it or are authorised to act for the owner.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge your report (by email, with a reference, if you gave us your address), and review it promptly, diligently and objectively.
  • If we act, for example by removing content or suspending a shop, we tell the business concerned and give it our reasons, as the DSA requires. It may ask us to review the decision.
  • We tell you what we decided, if you gave us your contact details.
  • Where content suggests a threat to someone's life or safety, we inform the authorities.

Misuse

We may stop processing reports from anyone who frequently sends reports that are clearly unfounded, after warning them.
