These terms apply when you register, renew or transfer a domain name through Clever Little Cart. They form part of our Terms of service. We act as a reseller of Enom, LLC, an ICANN-accredited registrar ("the Registrar").
1. The registration
- A domain is registered in your name, as the registrant, with the contact details you give. You must give accurate, complete details, keep them up to date, and answer the Registrar's requests to confirm them within the time given. False details, or a failure to respond, can lead to the domain being suspended or cancelled.
- By registering, you also agree to the Registrar's registration agreement, and to the rules of the registry for your domain's ending (such as
.com,.euor.cy). These include ICANN's policies, the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP), and, for some endings, eligibility rules. For example,.eunames may only be held by people and organisations in the EU or EEA. - ICANN's registrants' benefits and responsibilities apply to you.
2. Your responsibilities
- You confirm that the domain does not infringe anyone's trademark or other rights, and that you are not registering it in bad faith.
- You are responsible for how the domain is used, which must follow our Acceptable use policy.
3. Prices and renewal
- Prices for registration and renewal are shown before you buy, and include VAT where it applies. Under the reverse charge, or outside the EU, you pay the price without VAT. Registry prices can change, and renewal prices may differ from first-year prices.
- Domains renew automatically each year while your Shop is active, unless you turn off auto-renew. We charge your card on file before the expiry date. If the charge fails, we tell you; a domain not renewed in time expires, and may be lost or cost more to recover.
- Domain fees are not refundable once the domain is registered or renewed, because the registry charges us at once.
4. Transfers and when you leave
- You may transfer your domain to another registrar at any time, subject to registry rules (for example, transfers are usually not possible within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer). We provide the authorisation code when you ask.
- If you cancel your Clever Little Cart subscription, your domains remain yours. Transfer them away, or ask us to keep renewing them on your behalf.
5. Suspension and disputes
The Registrar or registry may suspend, transfer or cancel a domain under its rules, a UDRP decision or a court order. We are not liable for what they decide. A dispute over who should hold a domain is between you and the other party, under the UDRP or the registry's dispute policy.
6. Privacy
WHOIS privacy is included, free, on every domain you register through us, where the domain's registry allows it: your personal contact details are replaced by privacy-service details in public WHOIS look-ups, and messages are forwarded to you. This applies only to domains you buy or transfer to us; a domain you keep with another registrar and connect to your Shop has whatever privacy that registrar provides. Some endings (such as .eu and some country endings) do not allow privacy services; their registries' own rules on what is published apply. Registries and the Registrar may still disclose registrant details where the law or their policies require, for example to law enforcement or in a dispute. See our Privacy policy.
